Student Organizations
Students at Moravian, regardless of their major, are invited to join the Moravian Mathematical Society or the Association for Computing Machinery. Students majoring in mathematics may be invited to join the Moravian chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the mathematical honors society.
Moravian Mathematical Society
The Moravian Math Society, a student chapter of the Mathematical Association of America, is a student group open to all Moravian students who are interested in mathematics.
The society works to foster a sense of mathematical community, through “Snacks-n-Laughs” gatherings each week as well as field trips each semester. The society also serves as a social network when you need help with calculus homework or when you need to decide what you want to do after college.
The advisor for the Mathematical Society is Kevin Hartshorn. The officers for the 2006-2007 year are
