Ben Coleman joined the department in 2003, and has taught a variety of courses in computer science including the introductory sequence, Cryptography, Game Programming, Simulation, and Theory of Computation. His scholarly areas include both theoretical and applied topics, with particular interest in games and their use in the curriculum. Professor Coleman is actively involved in student research through both the SOAR and honors programs, and he coaches students in the annual ACM and CCSC programming contests.
