Department Mission
We provide students with an understanding of the nature of mathematics and computer science and the role of these disciplines in cultural development. We provide opportunities for our students to develop problem-solving skills they can apply to challenges that arise in our modern society, as well as the ability to communicate their analysis.
Curriculum
The department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Moravian College offers a major and a minor in both mathematics and computer science. In addition to the major requirements, students must complete the general education requirement called Learning in Common (LinC).
